Overview:

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Job Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and others
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and construct walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Schedule and coordinate work at construction sites
• Instruct apprentices
• Estimate costs and materials

• Tools/Equipment: Must have own tools and steel-toed safety boots
