Job Description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Employer: Nitro Lounge

Location: 8600 Keele St, Unit 35-36, Concord, ON L4K 4H8
Salary: $34.50 per hour / 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Work Schedule: Flexible hours, including days, evenings, mornings, shifts, weekends, and overtime
Start Date: Immediate

Education: College, CEGEP, or non-university diploma (3 months to less than 1 year)
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations
  • Answer and relay phone calls, handle electronic inquiries
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments
  • Type, proofread, and prepare various documents such as forms and correspondence
  • Prepare financial, statistical, and accounting reports
  • Post journal entries and maintain financial records
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare trial balances
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Process payroll cheques

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit. Those without work authorization in Canada will not be considered.
