Job Responsibilities:

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Use machines like brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending equipment
• Determine the weldability of materials
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using welding machines
• Use brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, seams, and indentations
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
