Tasks:

  • Establish and manage office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer phone calls, relay messages, and direct inquiries
  • Respond to electronic inquiries
  • Gather and compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Order and manage office supplies and inventory
  • Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts or service areas
  • Open and distribute both regular and electronic mail, coordinating the flow of information
  • Set up and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems
  • Type and proofread documents, correspondence, and forms
