Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Responsibilities:
Manage, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral devices.
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
Provide troubleshooting support for network users.
Implement security measures for data, software, and hardware.
Perform routine network startups and shutdowns, and maintain control logs.
Conduct data backups and recovery operations in case of disaster.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
Set up local area networks and establish Internet connections.
Implement network monitoring software to manage traffic and security, and optimize server performance.
Modify web pages, applets, and scripts.
