Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Web Design Intern to join our dynamic team. This position involves designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our client’s needs. You will work closely with other team members to create responsive designs that enhance user experience and meet functionality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative website layouts, templates, and features using modern design principles and web technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to deliver on project goals and deadlines.
- Ensure that designs are responsive, optimizing them for various devices and screen sizes.
- Work with the development team to ensure seamless integration of designs into web applications.
- Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for speed, accessibility, and user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and tools to ensure that designs are modern and cutting-edge.
- Provide support for ongoing web projects, assisting with design revisions and updates as needed.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to come up with creative design solutions.
Qualifications:
- A passion for web design and creating innovative user experiences.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web design tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch).
- Basic understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for design aesthetics.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery is a plus but not required.
- A portfolio showcasing web design projects (if available) is desirable.
